    Hi @ravi_gadgil,

We’re sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been experiencing with sending texts to India. The texts which you are trying to send fall under our out-of-plan services, which require a sufficient bill cap in order to go through.

To increase your bill cap with iD Mobile, you can follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your iD Mobile account.
    2. Go to My Account > Manage Bill Cap.
    3. Adjust your bill cap to a higher amount to allow these calls.

You can read more about roaming charges here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/international-and-roaming-charges

The table below displays how much you’ll be charged for any minutes, texts or data that you use.

    Texts to UK** £0.60

    Hi @ravi_gadgil

I am so sorry to hear of this.

When calling or texting India, you need to make sure that you are using the correct area code, which should be +91 followed by the number.

It may also be worth it to try the below steps, depending on the type of phone you have:

    For Android:

    • Open Settings
    • Tap General Management
    • Tap Reset
    • Select Reset network settings

    For iPhone:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Phone
    • Tap My Number
    • Delete the old number
    • Enter the new/current number
    • Tap Save

Then follow these steps to refresh iMessage:

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap Messages
    3. Turn iMessage OFF
    4. Go to Settings > General
    5. Tap Reset
    6. Choose Reset Network Settings
    7. Once your iPhone restarts, go back to Settings
    8. Tap Messages
    9. Turn iMessage ON again

Your iPhone should now recognise the SIM and verify your number.
