ID switch hasnt happened and i have been given my PAC code

i have been given my pac code from my old provider but when i try and switch it just says please try again later and doesn’t work - i need my original number and i’ve been given a temporary and the switch hasn’t happened yet and it’s been a while

Thanks for reaching out, I’m sorry to hear your number transfer hasn’t gone through yet.
If you're seeing an error when trying to submit your PAC code, please double-check that:

-Your transaction number starts with a “4” (this is found in your welcome email).
- All details entered are correct.

If everything looks right and it’s still not working, the best next step is to contact us via Live Chat at idmobile.co.uk/live-chat. Type “talk to a person” to bypass the chatbot and speak directly with an advisor who can manually process the transfer for you.
