I have a SIM only contract. Last year while in the USA and Canada I was unable to use my phone for data, calling or texting (unless connected to WiFi).I had roaming and premium settings toggled to on and had a decent cap set. I also did an add on for data but still couldn't use my phone.This year I'm going to South Africa and don't want the same problem. Any suggestions/information on how I can make sure I can make calls/send texts (I plan to buy an esim for data).Thanks
