iPhone 15 pro not calling over 4G or WiFi calling, despite showing full signal.

My iphone 15 pro is not calling out over either 4G or WiFi, I have tried the troubleshooting guide provided to others, reset my number and network settings and it still won’t work. i have checked for coverage issues and there are none. This is an intermittent issue that occasionally self-resolves but has been persisting for over 24 hours now. Despite the increased use of the internet, there is still a need to make telephone calls so why isn’t this working?

Hi @DistantLantern

We’re sorry to hear that you are continuing to experience issues making outbound calls over both 4G and Wi-Fi Calling, especially after already completing the troubleshooting and network resets provided previously. We completely understand how frustrating this must be, particularly when the issue has now been ongoing intermittently for over 24 hours.

As you have already:

  • Reset network settings
  • Reset the number connection
  • Checked for local coverage issues
  • Tried the standard troubleshooting

please also try the following additional checks:

  • Ensure “VoLTE” / “4G Calling” is enabled:
    • Settings
    • Mobile Service
    • Mobile Data Options
    • Voice & Data
    • Ensure 4G/VoLTE is selected
  • Temporarily disable Wi-Fi Calling completely and test standard mobile calling only:
    • Settings
    • Phone
    • Wi-Fi Calling
    • Turn OFF
  • Then test again with Wi-Fi OFF entirely

Please also try:

  • Testing the SIM in another handset if possible
  • Testing another SIM in the iPhone to determine whether the issue follows the SIM or the device
  • Turning OFF any VPN services if enabled
  • Resetting all settings:
    • Settings
    • General
    • Transfer or Reset iPhone
    • Reset
    • Reset All Settings

(This does not erase personal data but will reset device settings)

As the issue is intermittent and occasionally self-resolves, this may indicate:

  • Temporary network registration issues
  • SIM provisioning faults
  • VoLTE/Wi-Fi Calling registration instability
  • Localised mast congestion or intermittent service degradation not yet formally reported

If the issue still continues after trying the above, please contact our Live Chat Team or send us a direct message through our social media platforms so that we can investigate the account and network provisioning further.
