lack of signal and data ilford

Hello,

Please note there is absolutely no signal connection and or data access in Ilford / East London area. I understood that there may be some updates in the network - but this has been over a week. I simply can not access internet or make calls from Ilford all the way across the Ilford Lane even as you travel toward barking area. Can you (ID Mobile) provide an answer for this? can other ID mobile users please comment if you have the same issues… Thank you

Thanks for getting in touch, and sorry to hear about the ongoing issues you’ve been experiencing in the Ilford and surrounding East London areas.
 

We completely understand how disruptive it is when you’re unable to make calls or use data for an extended period.
 

From our checks, there are no reported widespread outages affecting the Ilford or Barking areas at present, so this does not appear to be a known network fault.
 

As a first step, we’d recommend setting your handset to 4G only, as this can often improve stability if the device is struggling to switch between network modes:

iPhone:

  • Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data
  • Select 4G

Android:

  • Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Mode
  • Select 4G/LTE only

Once set, please restart your handset and test again in the affected areas.

 

If the issue continues after trying this, please let us know so we can investigate further for you and check your connection in more detail.

No. I reset the network to 4G - and and restarted the phone and still get nothing. There is not data coming through at all. My mobile data is green and open for usage - once I am on the bus and the bus moves away from Ilford my mobile data works and I can access the internet / emails. I am now in Starbucks ilford, the only this works is if I access Starbucks wifi. So the issue is the not the phone or the network - I also received a call - but I can not make any calls,… This needs to  be addressed.

I tied in the morning no showed up in the Live Chat - and I am now still there and there is no one showing up at the live chat - can you reset something from your end so I can use my mobile and data again?
