linked account to a deleted Gmail

I accidentally linked my ID account to my old Deleted gmail account instead of my new one and now i cannot log in due to not being able to get my one time use password. i have tried to talk to customer service however we have just been talking in circles and they are not being helpful.

Can i do anything?
