We have just completed a speed test - my son was around 23 and mine is 3

Although you’re both in the same location, you’re likely connecting to different masts. Speed varies for several reasons, including band selection, distance, surroundings, and congestion.


You can confirm this by entering the Field Test Mode on your device by dialling the following code on your phone’s keypad:


*3001#12345#*

 

It’s also possible that your device is faulty.

i have iPhone 16pro

son has 13 pro max (I think)

 

I have done a network reset and it is still the same.
