Mixed port of numbers across from O2 to ID

If I call from my phone it appears on other phones as my old ported number which is correct

If I message from my phone it appears on other phones as from the ID number before the port, incorrect

If someone messages the ID number I receive the text which is incorrect

If someone messages to my ported number I do not receive the text, incorrect

If anyone calls either the ported number or the ID number it says the number is not recognised, incorrect

What is wrong, I have tried various things previously suggested and nothing works, this is business critical and requires rectification.

In the sim card status it shows mobile network state disconnected which is obviously incorrect and I have reset the network and still no joy.

Please advise urgently…… Can you check the status of my numbers and the port across?

@Delienn  Welcome firstly when was you ported date due ?

Sometime completion can take longer then the due date once started.

If not up and running by tomorrow midday we can try and get a member of staff to look into your account.

@Delienn  OK try these step outlined below.

Port Number Split Issue

A split port issue occurs when the porting process of a phone number from one network to another is not fully completed, resulting in the inability to receive calls or texts despite being able to make them. This issue is characterized by the ported number being displayed correctly when making calls, but incoming calls and texts are not received, often because the previous network has not fully released the number or there was an error during the porting process.

Symptoms and Effects

  • Inability to receive calls and texts despite successful outgoing communication.
  • Correct number display when making calls, but incoming communications fail.
  • iMessage may work, but standard SMS and voice calls do not.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Contact iD Support: Reach out to iD Mobile's customer support for assistance, as they can investigate the issue on their end.
  2. Check Settings: Ensure all phone settings are correct, including the display of the correct mobile number.
  3. Forced Restart: Try performing a forced restart on the device to resolve any potential software glitches.
  4. Live Chat: Utilize iD's online Live Chat service to speak with a customer adviser, especially if other methods have been exhausted.

Resolution Timeline

The resolution time for a split port issue can vary. In some cases, the issue may resolve itself within a few hours, such as by 6 pm on the same day the port was initiated. However, it may take longer, and continuous follow-up with the service provider is recommended to ensure the issue is addressed promptly.
