mobile phone not connecting to the internet. But my other account on my tablet is, so its not the coverage. my account shows I have many GBs of data left. .

My mobile phone not connecting to the internet, I have many GBs of data left and the montly allowance has just renewed.

I can make telephone calls.

In addition I am not in the uk but travelling in France.

My other account on my tablet does connect to the internet, so its not the local coverage.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting connected while you’re away.

 

As you’re roaming in France, the issue may be related to the network your phone is connected to. We’d recommend checking that you’re connected to one of iD Mobile’s roaming partners there, these are Orange, Free Mobile, BYTEL or BOUYGTEL.

 

Once you’ve manually selected one of those networks, please try doing a network reset on your phone. This can often refresh the connection and get your data working again.

 

Here’s how:

Android:

Open Settings and then tap General management. Tap Reset, and then tap Reset network settings.

 

iPhone:

1. Go to General, scroll down and click reset or transfer iPhone.
2. Reset
3. Reset Network Settings.
4. Once the iPhone is open.
5. Go to Settings
6. Messages Turn ON iMessage.
7.This will recognize the new sim and have it verified.
