My iD Mobile eSIM profile is missing on smasung S22, can't add airalo e-sim

In SIM manager there is only the id mobile sim, there is no option to add an e-sim. I suspect the e-sim facility needs enabling, is it blocked?

Networks can’t restrict eSIMs. Contact the manufacturer for support.
