My phone connects to Vodafone au momentarily and then disconnects

My phone connects to Vodafone au momentarily after restarting phone and then disconnects saying Sim1 not aloud. Is this normal?

Thanks for reaching out! When your phone briefly connects to Vodafone and then shows “SIM1 not allowed,” this is normal if your SIM is locked to iD Mobile or if roaming isn’t enabled.
Please check:

-Your SIM is active and inserted correctly.
-Network settings are set to automatic.
-Roaming is enabled if you’re abroad.
