Question

New ID mobile contract phone and dual sim

Hi,

I have found a good contract with ID that comes with a phone. I am happy with my current mobile provider, but would like to explore ID for the sake of the phone coming really cheap with ID mobile. I have a couple of questions:

  1. If I do not decide to transfer my current mobile number to ID network, can I continue to have dual sims active in new phone, provide the phone supports dual sim?
  2. I am only getting 200GB data over the course of the 2 year contract, which roughly equates to 8 GB per month. If I were to overrun this limit, can I switch the data to my other sim in the phone?

Thanks!

Hi @vilegenius

  1. If the phone supports dual SIM capabilities, you can use both SIM cards in the phone without needing to transfer.
  1. Kindly note that the plan provides 200GB per month, or 8GB if that is the plan you were looking at. The 200GB refers to the monthly allowance for that specific plan.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply. I can confirm that the plan I am looking at provides 200 GB over the course of the contract, that is 24 months.

Thanks!
