I was upgrading my phone, but accidentally bought a new one instead of upgrading so I would like to cancel my current contract so I don’t get charged twice. And I would also like to ensure that I can keep my number

    Hi @Erinmcallister,

I'm sorry to hear that you've accidentally taken out a new plan instead of upgrading your existing one.

The best option would be to contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible and ask them to process a return on the new plan.

Once that's been done, they can transfer you to our Sales Team, who will be able to help you complete the upgrade correctly on your existing account.

This is particularly important if you want to keep your current number, as iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts.

You can contact the team via Live Chat here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We apologise for the inconvenience and hope this gets sorted for you quickly.

    Regards,
