I am on holiday and cant connect. My wife had a message saying we may have charges. On my plan I have 217GB of data allowance showing. Any ideas. I have mailed on Facebook.  First time auto response, poss as out of work hours. Second time not even an automated response.

I’m really sorry to hear you’re having trouble connecting while on holiday, I understand how frustrating that must be, especially when you’re unsure about possible charges.

We’d be more than happy to help with this. Could you please confirm which country you’re currently in? While your plan includes a large data allowance, free roaming only applies in selected destinations (50 inclusive roaming countries on iD Mobile). If you’re in a country outside of those, charges may apply for using data, calls, or texts.

Any usage charges would be taken from your bill cap. To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00, which will prevent any out-of-plan spending.

Once you confirm your location, we can check things further and guide you on the best way to stay connected.
