No https://community.idmobile.co.uk/ using mobile data but https://www.idmobile.co.uk/ works fine. No problem with WiFi

Hi. What could cause a “No internet” message just for this site, on mobile data alone?

I have a Moto G54 running Android 15. I’ve tried restarting the phone, used Chrome and Oprea browsers and reseting the APN settings to default but the problem remains.

Any ideas?

Hey there ​@Treetusk, sorry to hear that. So to clarify, you have issues only with the iD Mobile Community website, and your device states you have no data when trying to access it?

 

Is that correct?

Hey Tyler. Yes, also an error occured on location sharing on Google maps, "error finding shares" so my location is only shared whilst on WiFi.

Since posting I put the SIM card into a different phone and the problem moved with the card. Putting the SIM card from the other phone into mine cleared the problem. I've requested a replacement SIM card that should arrive in 2 to 3 days. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

Hi Tyler

The SIM I requested didn't arrive so I rang the complaints line and they are sending another. 

Earlier in the week I ran out of mobile data. My monthly allowance renewed this morning and the problem has disappeared. So I'm guessing it was a technical issue with my account, the symptoms were a bit bizarre.
