I have no signal since the morning.

Pointless question ; do some self help, by inputting your postcode on id’s NETWORK STATUS page.😐

It isn't working in other areas either. I tried all the reset and take SIM out options. My wife is in the same network and hers is working fine.

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve had no signal since this morning.

 

As your wife’s iD Mobile service is working normally, this would suggest the issue may be specific to your SIM, network registration, or device settings rather than a wider outage.

 

As you’ve already tried restarting the phone and removing the SIM, we’d recommend trying a full network reset next.

 

For iPhone:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Select Transfer or Reset iPhone
  • Tap Reset
  • Choose Reset Network Settings

Your phone will restart afterwards.

 

For Android:

(Steps may vary slightly depending on the handset)

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General Management or System
  • Select Reset
  • Tap Reset Network Settings
  • Confirm the reset

 

After the reset:

  • Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then back off
  • Ensure mobile data is enabled
  • Check that network selection is set to Automatic
  • Restart the phone once more

 

If possible, we’d also recommend:

  • Testing your SIM in another handset
  • Testing another SIM in your handset

 

This can help identify whether the issue is linked to the SIM or the device itself.

I tried it in another phone and it works on 4g. My main phone is 5g and it is not working. It won't let me change any settings in the network to try and use 4g. 

I did all those things you listed Gemma. Going to try a new SIM today from Currys.
