Mobile data not working in Turkey. I've bought a roam beyond package for 10 days and it isn't working ?

If your iD Mobile roaming add-on isn't working, it’s usually due to a missing setting on your account or device. Try these quick fixes to get connected:-

  • Enable in App: Go to the iD Mobile App or website. Ensure "Roaming" is manually switched ON in your account services.
  • Check Bill Cap: If your bill cap is set to £0, roaming data is automatically blocked. Adjust this cap in the app.
  • Enable Data Roaming: Go to your phone’s settings (under Connections, Mobile Data, or SIMs) and ensure the Data Roaming toggle is switched ON.
  • Manual Network Selection: Turn off automatic network selection in your phone's network settings and manually select one of the local partner networks in the country you are visiting.
  • Restart: Toggle Airplane mode on and off, or completely restart your device to force it to connect to the local network.

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot. 

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

Hi I got it working by switching manually to Turk Telekom although the id mobile app doesn't work when using mobile data on this carrier see attached pics.

We are glad to hear you were able to get the service working by manually connecting to Turk Telekom.

 

If you’re still experiencing issues, particularly with certain apps not loading over mobile data, we’d recommend trying to manually connect to one of the other supported roaming networks in Turkey, such as AVEA or Turkcell, as roaming performance can sometimes vary between partner networks.

 

We do also recommend trying the iD Mobile website on incognito mode to try and login to your iD Mobile account.

The service is terrible have to manually connect to network every 5 minutes it boots you off and now it won't work at all !

Not worth the £35 I've paid very disappointed with the service would appreciate some contact from customer service regarding this ?
