Question

Not Receiving OTP from HSBC

Hi,

I have been on to HSBC several times over the last few weeks as I am unable to receive an OTP to get into my bank app.

They have suggested I contact my provider - after checking my number several times.

Please can you check that they’re not blocked?

Regards 🙂

Having the exact same problem with ID and HSBC. It isn’t the first time.

I have raised a ticket for ID to ring me and sort it out as HSBC have confirmed the texts are being sent. They supposedly will ring me tomorrow.

Think I will be leaving ID after this is fixed because it keeps happening and I can’t afford to have no access to paying my bills…

I bank with HSBC and have had no issues receiving OTP’s from them.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with iD Mobile or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. Did my comment help answer your question? If so, don't forget to mark the response as the Most Helpful Answer.

Hey there @Sarah87 & @EllMo, sorry to hear that.

When you go into your phone settings, is your phone number showing correctly?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hi!

I had spoken to a member of the ID customer service who fixed my problem.
it was indeed my phone number in the settings in my phone!

    Thanks!! 😊
