Not receiving SMS texts with verification codes

I've recently ported from EE and upgraded handset from Pixel 6 to Pixel 10 Pro.

When setting up Apps I'm not receiving verification codes but I am received texts from personal contacts. Phone calls are fine.

I've tried many things and even got through to chat to a real person, but the advice didn't help (and they ended the chat while I was trying to amend settings that they recommended, although their instructions were poor and difficult to follow!)

So far very disappointed with iD that I can't do basic App set up to important basic life management Apps (banking, insurance, etc) and support from iD is terrible.

Yes my number is displayed correctly. As I mentioned I have been receiving texts from other people, I've not been receiving verification codes when trying to set-up apps on my new handset.

Coincidentally, this evening I suddenly received six text messages with different verification codes from one of my apps. Therefore I went into the app and I was finally able to receive a verification code.

I hope it now also works for the other apps I need to establish!
