Not recieiving OTPs

This started with my son’s phone which I have on my account.  New SIM was sent but linked to the wrong number so actually deactivated my SIM instead of his.  I now have the new SIM in my phone and now can’t receive OTPs.  

As this is now two phones I have that can’t receive them I’m very concerned it’s a much wider issue than just one faulty SIM.  Can anyone advise?
