Number not fully transferred via PAC

I have recently switched over from Three to ID Mobile. It seems that the PAC porting process hasn't been completed correctly, as certain people are able to call and text me, and other people cannot.

Those who cannot call me say that when they try, a different number appears that is not my number.

Why is this happening and how can I resolve it?

You need to request that iD Mobile port your number over. They will ask you for that PAC as part of the process.

It’s unlikely to be a porting issue because you haven’t actually ported your number anywhere. What phone do you have?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with iD Mobile or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. Did my comment help answer your question? If so, don't forget to mark the response as the Most Helpful Answer.

    Hi Sian,

    It's a Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra.

I am still having difficulties with transferring my old number to carry forward to ID Mobile. Although I had received a PAC code to retain my number it appears a new number has been generated for me

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi @Alexwinter548

I’m a little confused, have you transferred your number over to iD Mobile yet?

Before the transfer of a number into our network, all our plans are given a new number.

    Hi Tom,

I requested my PAC code from old provider which I received,

I then had the new ID mobile sim sent over in the post, and followed the activation instructions
