Question

ordered phone ‘returned to consignor’ by dpd

Hi there,
I have missed a delivery of a new phone in two consecutive days. When I click on the DPD email link they simply say the ‘Return to consignor has been requested’(Curry’s). Can you advise how I can now request that the item is delivered (at a time when I am not on the school run/ working)?

Thank you

    Hi @J A Parry ,

When DPD shows “Return to consignor has been requested”, it usually means the item is being sent back to the retailer (in this case, Currys) because the delivery attempts were unsuccessful. Unfortunately, once this process starts, DPD can’t reschedule the delivery directly.
    Here’s what you can do:

1.Contact Currys Customer Support as soon as possible to confirm the status of your order and request a redelivery or reorder.
2.If the order has already been returned and refunded, you may need to place a new order.
3.For future deliveries, you can use DPD’s “In-Flight Options” (via the DPD app or email link) to:

    -Change the delivery date
-Choose a safe place or neighbor
-Redirect to a local DPD Pickup Shop
