Parental communication control

I have parental control of who my son can contact and communicate with. He has an Apple phone. Unfortunately, because of this, he cannot see messages from ID mobile (e.g to say he needs to top up) unless I remove the controls. I have tried adding the ID contact into his phone but this doesn’t work. I assume ID messages come from a computer or change number. Is there any way ID can resolve this, or help me resolve it.

Hi ​@BuzzBumble  is it a Pay As You Go iD plan your son has? Does he have the iD app? This would allow his to track his usage?

He has PAYG but I bought the sim in my name and so I have his phone as a plan in my app. He doesn’t have the app. If he did, it still wouldn’t resolve not seeing the messages that ID send (e.g spending abroad etc )

You’re not receiving any texts from iD Mobile, correct? What about texts from other numbers?

 

How is it you’re sure you would’ve been sent a text?
