Phone trade in payment not received and no communication

Hello! 
 

I sent my phone off for trade in nearly 3 weeks ago and have had zero correspondence from either ID Mobile or Currys since. I have tried contacting the suggested trade in email address and have had no response. I have also tried calling Currys and the response I got was ‘there is nothing we can do to help’ and 'you should keep emailing them’. Would be great to get some sort of update. 

 

Anyone had a similar experience or able to help at all?

Hi,

 

having the same issue.  Sent my phone off special delivery and know it was signed for, there has been no contact and no response to emails sent.  Shocking level of service.  Emails totally ignored.  As ID mobile are partnering with Curry’s they need to step in and get this sorted.

 

tried the email shown but out goes into a black hole.  Very disappointed with the whole thing.  Would not recommend trading through ID mobile and use an external company.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.  I have checked the Junk folders just in case but nothing has been received.

As ID mobile promote the trade in process, I reached out today on the live chat but was told there is nothing you can do.

Obviously this is very disappointing.  The process being advertised clearly isn’t being followed and having reviewed the comments clearly I am not the only one of ID mobile customers impacted.

The customer advisor on live chat advised it could be up to 120 days before I may receive the payment- at this stage I am still waiting to have confirmation of the trade in value or get the phone back.  Personally I would like the phone back and use trade in services elsewhere.  I certainly will not recommend Curry’s and suggest ID mobile receive the service level agreements in place.
