I take it you have an iPhone?

No an Android. I didn't have this problem when I was directly with 3 but I had my number ported to idmobile yesterday and now the phone doesn't even ring for these private number calls.

Fairly important as my hospital specialists are unable to contact me.

I am so sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with your phone.

Please coud you try the below steps to see if this resolves the issue.

1. Open Settings
2. Tap General Management
3. Tap Reset
4. Select Reset network settings

It may also be worth it to check your settings to ensure that private are not blocked, you can do so by following the below steps:

Method 1: Check Phone app settings (most common)

1. Open the Phone app
2. Tap the 3 dots (⋮) in the top-right corner
3. Tap Settings
4. Look for:

• Blocked numbers
• Call blocking
• Block numbers

5. Turn OFF any option like:

• Block unknown callers
• Block private numbers
• Block calls from unidentified numbers

Method 2: Check “Do Not Disturb” settings

Sometimes DND is set to allow only contacts:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Sound & vibration
3. Tap Do Not Disturb
4. Check Calls
5. Make sure it’s not set to:

• “Contacts only”
• “Starred contacts only”

Change it to Allow all calls if needed.
