Problems with my Moto G56

Hi. I signed up in October last year via carphone warehouse for the Moto G56 and unlimited cals/text/internet.

I have this odd problem on my phone when I try to contact people after a few hours of it being on with garbled sound that no-one can hear me. This is the same if I leave a watts app message or ring directly aand it doesnt matter if im on Wifi or direct internet.

I usually resolve it by having to restart my phone but its very annoying so last night we did a factory reset and today the same thing is happening.

Im at wits end to be honest as im still in contract and dont know what I can do.

 

Can you give me any advice please.

    Given that the problem affects both normal calls and WhatsApp calls/messages, occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile data, and has continued even after a factory reset, it does suggest that the issue may be related to the handset itself rather than the network.

     

    Before taking things further, we'd recommend checking the following:

    • Ensure the phone is running the latest available software version
    • Check whether any Bluetooth devices are connected when the issue occurs and disconnect them for testing
    • Test the microphone using the phone's voice recorder app when the issue is happening
    • Try making a call on speakerphone and then off speakerphone to see if the behaviour changes
    • Check whether any battery optimisation or device management apps are installed that could be affecting performance
