Why am I not receiving calls from other networks or landlines.

Best answer by WelshPaul

iD Mobile doesn’t have any telephone support.  I’d recommend trying the following:

  1. Reset Network Settings
  2. Try replacing the SIM
  3. Try a different handset

Reset Network Settings

To reset network settings, the steps vary depending on the device being used.

For iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  4. Tap Reset.
  5. Select Reset Network Settings.
  6. Enter your passcode, then tap Reset Network Settings.

For Samsung Galaxy:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General management.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Select Reset Network Settings.

For Most Other Android Phones:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap System.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap Reset options.
  5. Select Reset Network Settings.

Please note: Resetting network settings will erase saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings. After the reset, you will need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and configure any other network settings as needed.

Hi @Mich59,

Welcome to the Community!

Does the sender get any error messages when calling or texting?

Which make and model handset are you using? Please check the number in your settings.

Hi I have a Samsung A56 phone. I've only had it since late may.

I don't have an actual sim card.

My daughter is also with id mobile. I receive calls from her but any other network or landline numbers it goes straight to answer phone.

Hey there @Mich59, what do you mean you don’t have an actual SIM card sorry? Do you mean you have an eSIM instead?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hey there @Mich59, are you still having the same issues now?

In terms of receiving, to confirm, you can receive the calls fine, but people can’t hear you on the other end?

Thanks,

Tyler

So still having problems but the last couple of day's people are receiving my calls. However I am not receiving all my calls. A number of friends have phoned me and mentioned it goes straight to answer phone? Is there a number I can contact because this has been going on for nearly a week now and I have missed important phone calls.

Thanks

iD Mobile doesn’t have any telephone support.  I’d recommend trying the following:

  1. Reset Network Settings
  2. Try replacing the SIM
  3. Try a different handset

Reset Network Settings

To reset network settings, the steps vary depending on the device being used.

For iPhone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  4. Tap Reset.
  5. Select Reset Network Settings.
  6. Enter your passcode, then tap Reset Network Settings.

For Samsung Galaxy:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General management.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Select Reset Network Settings.

For Most Other Android Phones:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap System.
  3. Tap Advanced.
  4. Tap Reset options.
  5. Select Reset Network Settings.

Please note: Resetting network settings will erase saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings. After the reset, you will need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords and configure any other network settings as needed.
