Receiving texts while abroad in USA

I am travelling to USA and I am wondering, if I receive a text message from someone in UK do I get charged for receiving it. Can someone advise me on this.

    Hi there ​@Carolinebambirra, thank you for reaching out. You shouldn’t be charged for simply receiving a text there, no. However, you will be if you make call or send a text, or use data.

     

    To ensure you’re not charged, unless you plan on using roaming features, I’d simply recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00.
