I want refunded for the bolt on bought as I haven’t been able to use this even whe data roaming has been turned on. Can I receive a refund?

Generally, iD Mobile does not offer refunds for add-ons once they are purchased,  as they are considered non-refundable. However, you may be able to get a refund if the purchase was a fault on their end, a system error, or in some cases of accidental purchase by contacting an advisor via Live Chat  (The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday) :-

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot. 

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.

Sorry to hear you’ve not been able to use your bolt-on, that’s definitely frustrating, and we’ll do our best to help get this sorted for you.

 

To understand what’s happened and look into a possible refund, could you let us know a few details:

  • Are you still overseas, or are you now back in the UK?
  • If you’re abroad, which country are you currently in?
  • What’s the make and model of your handset?
  • Just to double-check, have you been able to use any services at all (calls, texts, or data), or none at all?
