Yes, with an iD Mobile SIM-only plan you can use your phone abroad, as roaming is included on all iD Mobile plans.

With iD Mobile, roaming comes as standard on both phone contracts and SIM-only plans. This means that when you travel to one of their inclusive roaming destinations, you can usually use your UK allowances of minutes, texts and data just like you would at home.

Key facts about roaming with iD Mobile

• Roaming is included on all plans (including SIM-only).
• You can use your UK minutes, texts and data in up to 50 destinations worldwide.
• There is a fair-use data limit of up to 30GB per month while roaming, even if your UK plan has more data.
• You can call or text the UK while abroad using your allowances.
• If you go over your allowances, out-of-plan charges may apply, so it’s recommended to set a Bill Cap to control spending.

If you’re travelling outside the included destinations, you may still be able to use your phone by purchasing roaming add-ons (such as “Roam Beyond”) depending on the country to have mobile data when roaming outside of the 50EU countries.
