I am travelling to Albania for 7/8 days. Is it likely to be cheaper for me to buy an add on or to increase my bill cap for the time I am there?

    You can now buy a data-only add-on to stay connected while you're in Albania. Use your data to browse, stream, and keep in touch with friends and family at all times. To get an add-on, simply log in to the iD Mobile app or my.idmobile.co.uk.

    10 GB 5 days £20
    20 GB 10 days £35

    Tip: To avoid out-of-plan charges when you land, it's best to purchase your Roam Beyond add-on while you're still in the UK. Alternatively, once you reach your destination, keep mobile data turned off until you can connect to Wi-Fi and buy an add-on.

    If you wish to use calls and text you’ll need to increase your cap.

    The table below displays how much you’ll be charged for any minutes, texts or data that you use.

    Just one more thought. If I activate the Add On at say midday on a Monday, does the one day only include that day or would it expire at midday the following day (Tuesday)?

    The add-on would expire 24 hours after you activate it.

    If I buy a data add on, do I still have to set my phone to Roaming under Settings?

    Yes, you’ll still need to activate roaming in your iD Mobile account and device settings.
