roaming in spain please help !

Hi, I recently bought an id sim along with a mercury mobile router so I could have WiFi in Spain but when I got there it would work in my phone not in my mobile router, does anyone have any ideas why or what I’ve done wrong.

Perhaps your mobile broadband router is network locked, @alysara.

Hi tthere @alysara, sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately, we don’t officially support the usage of our SIM cards in devices outside of our approved handsets. Therefore, we cannot guarantee our SIM would work in a router, and can’t troubleshoot for a router I’m afraid. If it works in the mobile, then this would be the reasoning I’m afraid.
