Signal and data strength

I've the past few days my signal and data have dropped to a point where I am missing calls and texts, gone from having strong signal and 5g to 1 bar and no data

Sorry to hear about the poor signal and data. Please try:

Restart your phone.

Toggle Airplane mode ON then OFF.

Check Mobile Data is on and SIM is seated correctly.

Test the SIM in another phone if possible.
 

For iPhone: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
For Android: Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings
 

If it’s still poor, please share your postcode and phone model so we can check coverage in your area.

Bt40 Samsung Z flip 7

Had bene working perfectly last week 

I have a hard seated sim and an e sim

Both experiencing the same issue

Try your SIM in a different phone.

Tried that this morning with the other tips from chat gpt no different and same issues as I mentioned with e sim and physical sim

It's at home, never been an issue before just start the past couple of weeks

Hi ​@Dano9982, I am sorry to hear this I would highly recommend getting a replacement sim to improve your connectivity. You can get one from your nearest Currys store or you can contact us directly via our social media platforms or via socialqueries@idmobile.co.uk and we can arrange for one to be sent out to you within 2 working days. 

 

In the meantime, we recommend performing a network reset on your device, which often helps with data and connectivity issues: 

For Android:

Open Settings

Tap General Management

Tap Reset

Select Reset Network Settings

I appreciate the offer of a replacement sim however given that the e sim is giving the same issue it doesn't seem to make sense that a replacement physical sim will make any difference
