sim arrived faulty and cant get add to app since i cant get the verification text.

As per title

 

recently joined and received faulty sim. Can’t seem to get a replacement as I need to register with the app but I can’t get the verification code by text as sim faulty (no sim inserted). Been to carphone warehouse store to get a replacement sim as that’s what I was advised to do on phone. They gave me a sim but can’t activate it for me which I need to do through the app which I can’t do as I can’t get the number registered with the app due to the original fault 🤦‍♂️

 

can’t seem to find any way to speak to someone directly from id mobile. Chat bot doesn’t have my specific fault listed so just returns to the same questions over and over same with automated line. 
 

starting to wish I hadn’t bothered switching over from my old network now as I don’t know what to do next and neither does anyone else. 
 

any help would be much appreciated appreciated.

Just tell the bot that you want to speak with a person.

I couldn’t see that option when going through the chat bot

Thanks all. After 4 days going back and forward to store and getting stressed with the bot can’t believe it was as easy as just typing “speak to a person “ 🤦‍♂️ 

 

wanted me to get a new sim but since I already had a replacement that hadn’t been registered she was able to transfer the details onto the new sim via serial number and activate it from their end. All sorted and working now 😁
