Wonder if anybody can help. I've been having problems for a while making and receiving calls on my galaxy s22. I have found by swapping the SIM card from the number one slot to the number two it works fine. Anybody any thoughts on that

If you google Samsung phone not working after eSIM and start reading you’ll see there are some issues with these phones. The same can be said for some not using an eSIM too. It does seem quite random.

One user on these forums has had their phone sent back to Samsung at least 2 times now and Samsung have changed the network card, motherboard and something else (I’ve since forgotten)

So yours could also be one that is acting up - IDK, but is more likely if it has ever used an eSIM. What is odd in your case is that iD prefer their SIM in slot 1 and if you’ve never used an eSIM in slot 1 then I have no clue why yours works in slot 2 only.

    Hi @Stowie39

Strange that it’d work just fine when switching the SIM to another SIM slot.

Have you tried a replacement SIM card?

    A network settings reset?
