sim not working after being abroad

Just been abroad to America and was using a e sim now back in the UK my id SIM isn't working just says no SIM. Turned phone off and on again and gone in to settings on SIM and put ID and still not working

Thank you for getting in touch with us, and I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with your SIM after returning from the USA.

 

As you were using an eSIM while abroad, your device may still be prioritising or holding the eSIM profile, which can sometimes cause the physical iD SIM to show as “No SIM” when you return to the UK.

Please try the following steps:

Go to Settings > Mobile Data and ensure your iD SIM is selected as the active line
If the eSIM is still installed and no longer needed, try temporarily turning it off
Restart your device again after making these changes
Remove and reinsert your physical SIM card if your device supports it

If the issue continues, we may need to refresh your SIM on the network or arrange a replacement SIM for you. Please send us private message if the issue still persists.
