Do your SIM-cards work with portable 4G/5G routers and can I switch a sim between a phone and the router?

Thanks.

Yes you can; maybe you’ll have to adjust SIM Card if 2 devices take different size ones.

    Hi, @Geluk

Kindly note that it depends on the device while iD Mobile SIM cards can work with some portable 4G/5G routers, this is not guaranteed. The service is primarily designed for use in mobile phones, so compatibility with routers may vary depending on the router model and settings.

You're welcome to try inserting your SIM into your router to see if it works. If it does, you should be able to switch the SIM between your phone and the router as needed. Just be aware that some features (like calling or messaging) may not function in the router, and data speeds or reliability might differ.

    Thank you,

    Zandile
