Since moving to ID Mobile I have not been able to received text 2FA.

Hi, since moving to ID Mobile I have not been able to received text 2FA - my bank says to check with ID Mobile that this facility has not been blocked by them. I have checked my phone and nothing appears blocked. Please advise, thank you.

Thank you for getting in touch. I understand how important it is to receive 2FA (one-time passcode) text messages, especially for banking, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having this issue since moving to iD Mobile.
 

Troubleshooting – Not Receiving 2FA Texts

Restart your phone

Check signal strength and toggle Airplane Mode on/off

Switch between 4G / 5G (if available)

Ensure Premium / Shortcode SMS is enabled

Check blocked numbers and Spam/Junk folders

Test sending and receiving a normal SMS

Try the SIM in another phone (if possible)

Ask your bank/service to reset or re-register your number for 2FA

If using dual SIM/eSIM, set iD Mobile as default for SMS
