I'm in Lincolnshire, near the coast, I'm having terrible slow speeds. Area is LN11 7SN. 2Mbps if I'm lucky and upload is 0.5Mbps. Sometimes won't even connect. Area shows as good coverage and I have 3 bars on phone. Coz ideas?

Hi @Nick2185,

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re experiencing with your coverage.

I’ve checked your postcode area (LN11 7SN) and can confirm that everything is currently showing as excellent. However, there does appear to be some network congestion in the area at times, which can lead to slower speeds or intermittent service.

When this happens, it’s often worth trying some basic troubleshooting as it can help refresh your connection and improve performance. A network reset is a good step to try:

Android:
Go to Settings → General management → Reset → Reset network settings

Apple:
Go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings

Once completed, your phone will restart its network connections and reconnect to the service, which often helps resolve temporary issues.

Hope this helps, and if the issue continues, please let us know

Regards,

Hi,

Already tried a reset, no difference.

Problem is on two devices at same address

I can't see congestion being the problem as it's very rural at LN117SN.

Anything else to try? I'd like to stick with ID Mobile but if it keeps up i'll be moving both contracts.

Thanks

Nick
