swapping phone - sim

I am upgrading my phone, is it the simple case of just putting my sim in that new phone?? Or do I need to do anything

    Thanks for your message! In most cases, upgrading your phone is simple: you can just remove your current SIM and insert it into your new phone. Your number, allowances, and plan will stay the same.

    A few things to check:

    Make sure the SIM fits your new phone (some phones need a nano, micro, or standard SIM).

    Restart your new phone after inserting the SIM.

    Check that calls, texts, and mobile data are working correctly.
     

    If your new phone uses an eSIM, you may need to activate it via the iD Mobile app instead.
