Question

switching to ID (keeping old number) error

I got a ID sim a couple of days ago. I tried to keep my old number and I asked for PAC. I filled in all the gaps. It keeps saying error every time. I also can't login to ID mobile app. For the ID mobile number, I put the new number given to me by ID mobile.

I keep switching the sim card from the previous sim to the id sim (new sim) every time. Maybe that has got to do with it?

What shall I do? What mistakes have I created?

    Hi @ZahraK ,

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the issue might be linked to a few things:

-PAC transfer timing – When you request a PAC, it can take up to a couple of days to process, and it’s best to leave the iD SIM in the phone while the transfer completes. Switching back and forth between SIMs can sometimes cause errors when logging in or activating your number.

-Login issues – Using the new iD number is correct, but the app may not allow login until the PAC transfer is fully complete.

-Filling details – Double-checking that all fields match exactly (name, date of birth, and old number) helps the transfer go through smoothly.

    Here’s what I recommend:

-Put your iD SIM in your phone and leave it there while the PAC transfer completes.

-Make sure you’re entering the old number for the PAC request and the new iD number for logging in.

-Try logging in again after a few hours once the transfer starts processing.
