No worries at all
It sounds like your new Honor 400 Pro is sending texts but showing a phone number instead of your name, which is usually normal at first, but it can be fixed so your contacts see your name properly.
Try these quick fixes:
1. Check your number is set correctly on the phone
Go to Settings
Tap About phone
Look for SIM status / Phone number
Make sure your correct number is showing
2. Restart your phone
Turn it off and back on to refresh messaging settings
3. Check your contacts are saved correctly
Make sure you are messaging saved contacts (not numbers typed manually)
Re-save one contact and test sending again
4. Update messaging app permissions
Go to Settings > Apps > Messages
Make sure permissions are allowed
5. Reset network connection
Toggle Airplane Mode ON for 10 seconds, then OFF
