There was no option to enter a PAC code

I've ordered a sim only plan but during checkout there was no option to enter a PAC code. I've now received info on my new number and plan. My new sim hasn't arrived yet. The website tells me to log onto the ID mobile app and enter the PAC code there but I can't log with my current number. What should I do next to keep my number?
