Transfer phone number from my account to another person

Years ago a took out a contract for my son.

He is now 18. What's the best way for him to setup his own account (assuming he passes a credit check!)?

The obvious way is for me to request a PAC for the number and then for him to apply for a  new account and supply the PAC. However will that be allowed as the source and destination mobile network are the same.

Or would it be easier to go to another network for 14 days! Which seems a bit daft!

Welcome to the Community!

Unfortunately we don’t offer internal number ports.

You can look at porting your number to a different network on a pay as you go account.

Once the number has ported to them you can obtain a PAC code and port the number into the new account.
