transferring number to new contract via another company.

I was advised that I cannot transfer my number to my new ID mobile contract, it was suggested on here leaving ID to another company and then returning to ID. I have requested a PAC code but on attempting to download the new eSIM I just purchased from another company, it states due to ID I cannot do this?

Has the other network accepted your PAC from iD Mobile (for the number you want to keep), @aharry98

HI @aharry98 ,

As your number is currently active on an existing iD Mobile account, it cannot be ported directly to a new iD Mobile contract. The usual solution is to temporarily move your number to another provider and then port it back to iD Mobile.

You may also want to contact your new provider regarding the eSIM download, as the number needs to be free to be transferred. Once your PAC is active with the other network, the port back to iD Mobile should complete successfully.
