Yes, you can absolutely switch to a newer phone, as long as you’re eligible for an upgrade.

 

The easiest way to check this is by logging into your iD Mobile account through the app or website. Once you’re in, head to the “My Account” section and look for the upgrade option. If you’re eligible, you’ll be able to view and select from the available upgrade deals there.

 

In terms of how it works, upgrading lets you move onto a new plan with a new handset while keeping your current number. Depending on your current contract, there may be an outstanding balance to pay before you can upgrade, but this will be made clear during the process.

 

If you do find that you’re eligible, the best next step is to speak with the Sales Team, who can walk you through the options and help you complete the upgrade.
