upgrade from sim only to a phone

Hello

Im 4 months in to my sim.only plan. The app says i can upgrade in july. Ive read some worrying things that there is restrictions on what phone i can upgrade to is that correct? Can someone explain please thank you x

Thanks for getting in touch, happy to clarify this for you.

 

As you’re currently 4 months into your SIM only plan, you’re not yet at the point where a handset upgrade would normally be available. iD Mobile upgrades to a handset on a SIM only contract are typically available after 6 months.

 

When you do become eligible, the options you can upgrade to may vary. In some cases there can be restrictions depending on your account status and affordability checks at the time of upgrade. Because of this, we’re unable to confirm in advance which specific handsets will be available to you until you reach eligibility and the upgrade options are generated on your account.

 

The best thing to do is check again once you reach the 6-month point via the iD Mobile app or online account, where any available upgrade deals will be shown to you directly.

 

If you have any concerns when you get closer to that time, our Sales Team can also review your options with you and explain what’s available.

Hhello Thank you

 

Just after reading multiple posts saying you have a tier system. Im pretty sure if this is true is against your contract terms. As this isnt mentioned anywhere.
