upgrade to sim only

I’m sorting my son’s phone contract and decided to go sim only. If I order the sim upgrade before his current contract expires, will the sim contract start automatically when the current deal ends or do they run side by side until deal ends? Thanks

    Hi ​@philevans, 

     

    Please note that you can only upgrade to a SIM Only plan from 24 days before the current contract end date, as this is when the upgrade options will begin to appear on the account.

     

    Once within the 24-day upgrade window, the SIM Only upgrade would replace the current agreement and would not run side by side with the existing contract.
