 How to use my phone  Abroad within the EU. I went Brussels recently was not able to use my phone without connecting to Wi-Fi. Why is this so?

I’m really sorry to hear you weren’t able to use your phone while abroad, I completely understand how frustrating that must have been.

Here are some steps to help:

-Enable Data Roaming:
Go to your phone’s settings and make sure Data Roaming is switched on.


-Check Your Roaming Settings in My Account:
Log in to the iD Mobile app or website and confirm that roaming is enabled on your account.


-Manual Network Selection:
If your phone didn’t connect automatically, go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Network Operators and select a local network manually.


-Restart Your Device:
Sometimes a simple restart helps refresh the connection.


-Check Your Allowance:
Ensure you have an active plan with data available for roaming.
