Waiting nearly a week for credit check


Ordered and paid for an upgrade that was showing in stock 6 days ago .After not receiving a delivery email made contact over chat to be told was waiting on credit check. How long can this take had no issues in the past and have a great score.

Thank you Kash sorted now been told 3 -5 working days for refund and order cancelled hopefully thats the end of it.

Not much help but thank you looks like I will be asking for refund. One week to run a credit check is unacceptable received email saying waiting for stock expected 8th November .Wait a week 2 be told that the credit is a waiting why advertise that they have stock if unable to fill orders. Have an excellent credit history with reason to be declined sounds suspect to me.

Are you sure you ordered an upgrade or a new plan?

 

If you were declined a credit check, I’m sorry to hear that, we’d recommend allowing at least 90 days between trying again.

Was definitely an upgrade as was told to keep sim and use in new phone. Realy strange recieved email confirmation and delivery date but nothing since on chat last night and was told credit check wasn't back yet. What could be taking a week maybe just a stalling tactic not sure but never had this issue before.

Have been on chat for about 50 minutes and still no straight answers. Have been told awaiting order completion really bad customer care . I understand its probably a busy time of year but just be honest and say they have a shortage of handsets. Wil give till wendsday then phone up to cancel .If honest their are better deals about anyway just thought it would easier to stay with id.

Thank you Kash 4 your help been on the phone tonight and have been told phone is in the picking stage and should be out 4 delivery soon. Will see what happens now but realy disappointed in the service ive received. I will be surprised if this is the end of it .

Still no delivery  been over ten day's and now showing out of stock. Not looking good might just be the type of phone I ordered colour etc. Not holding out much hope of receiving anytime soon. Feel let down so much for next day delivery.

Just been on chat again and finally been told the truth that they have no stock. Asked for a like 4 like alternative eg same phone difrent colour or storage with some kind of refund due to price difrence.no response just said would escalate a compliant to back staff. Feel like just moving to a difrent suplier and getting a refund.

It sounds like the phone is on back order, there should be a fulfillment date that has been quoted to you that would give an estimation of when we expect to receive stock.

Have been told they don't  know when they will get stock compliant has been made waiting on the outcome. Think I will go into currys tomorrow to see if an alternative or refund can be had.Realy poor service if they had said stock was an issue this could of been sorted last week . Had a realy hard time getting a straight answer and have been lied to on multiple occasions on phone and chat.Chat is like speaking to ai bot .Phoning was no better asked same question and never gave answers was told phone was being picked as we speak and should be with me very soon.That was 4 days ago had to get back chat to be told no stock nothing they can do but escalate to back office what ever that means.

Been on chat to cancel order and get refund as have now got a phone from currys. Was on chat for about  an hour trying to explain what has gone on and get a refund was unable to give refund till the handset has been recieved and returned.🤣🤣🤣This is a total joke of a company.I explained I was told they have  no stock and are unable to tell me when they will.Then was told that she was  unable to give a refund as the id mobile team can only do this so who am I speaking to a robot or someone who doesn't  understand English

Any ideas on how to cancel an upgrade and claim a refund. Don't Fancy waiting till Id finally get stock .Realy fed up with all of this now was told only way was yo wait for no existent handset to be sent out and then return.
